Hellerstedt, Abbott is looking to waste millions more in taxpayer dollars to defend a provision which is a wholly unconstitutional undue burden that does nothing to improve the health or well-being of one person.

Rosie Jimenez was one of the first women to die from a clandestine abortion after the 1976 Hyde Amendment prevented use of federal funds for abortion procedures.
